More than 1,200 photo sets, ready to render

Every set is nine photos of one muse in one place: a ryokan bath, a stalled lift, a rooftop in the rain, a tailor's fitting room. Costumes, jobs, holidays, fantasies and the old reliable tropes are all there, written and lit in advance. You do not write a word to get started; you choose a set and press render.

Change any picture by saying what you want

Open a picture on the wall, type what should change, and render it again. A bluer dusk, a different hat, her turned toward the window instead of the door, the silk robe swapped for a velvet coat: write it the way you would say it out loud. The new picture comes back beside the old one, and you can keep going from either.

Train a muse on your own photos

Upload six to twenty photos of one woman's face, in different light, give her a name, and Ovid trains her. From then on she stars in every set in the catalog, in whatever outfit the set calls for. The photos must be of you, or of an adult woman who has agreed to having pictures made of herself from them; you tick a box saying so before training starts.

Or take one of the house muses

More than thirty muses are already on the roster, each with her own face, body and temper, and none of them exists. Pick one in the strip on the wall and every set you render is her. Switch to another whenever you like; the pictures you already have keep the woman they were made with.

How it works

Pick a set from the catalog, or search the wall for a scene, an outfit or a mood.

Choose who is in it: a house muse, or a muse you trained.

Render nine photos, then open any one of them and write what should change.

Questions

Is anyone in these pictures real?
The house muses are not. Each one is generated, a face and a body that were never photographed. A muse you train yourself is made from the photos you upload, which is why those photos must be of you or of an adult woman who agreed.
What does it cost?
Browsing is free. A free account renders nine pictures a day, enough for one full set. The Ovid plan is $24 a month, includes one muse of your own and up to 300 pictures a day; each further muse is $15, paid once. Cancel any time.
Do I need to write prompts?
No. Every set is already written; you choose one and render it. Words only come in when you want a picture changed, and then a short sentence does it.
Will it draw whatever I type?
Most of it. Some requests are refused, and the wall tells you so (not something we draw). Everything involving minors or a real person without their consent is refused by rule, not by mood.
Who sees the muse I train?
Only you. She is private to your account, used only for your pictures, and deleted along with her photos when you delete her.
Is this for adults only?
Yes. Ovid is 18+ everywhere, with no exception.
